Honda Motorwerks to Host 2009 Earth Day Activities
Honda Motorwërks will be hosting a variety of Earth Day activities April 22 at the dealership. Eight industry experts will be conducting brief presentations about energy efficiency and other environmental topics throughout the day beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing through 3 p.m. Topics will include:
10:00 a.m.—Geo-thermal energy, presented by Jim Poehling of First Supply
10:30 a.m.—Neighborhood Electric Vehicles, presented by Tom Schee, of www.nevcarstore.com
11:00 a.m.—Organic food, presented by Lynn Tschumper – organic farmer and owner of Lynwood Farm (CSA) on behalf of People’s Food Coop
11:30 a.m.—Conservation, presented by Nick Nichols of La Crosse County
1:00 p.m.—Wind Energy, presented by John McWilliams of Dairyland Power
1:30 p.m.—Compressed Natural Gas, presented by Chris Schneider of Honda Motorwerks
2:00 p.m.—Solar, presented by John Murphy of greenhomesolar.net
2:30 p.m.—Green Homes, presented by Roald Gundersen
